I had multiple companies come out to give me a quote on replacing my skylights. Only this company understood my needs and concerns. They gave me additional suggestions and I am glad they did. His was the only company who also offered to sand some paneling under my skylights which looked old at no extra charge. He never pressured me and was easy to work with from start to finish. My wife and I were in awe when we saw the results. Everything looked even better then we could imagine. Highly recommend Eric and his friendly team for his awesome workmanship and work ethic.

I had one skylight installed in the late fall. The communication from the office side/ owner was a bit scattered in the beginning. There were several times when I felt like my project was being overlooked or things were being over-booked. However, once I stated this, the owner made the changes needed to correct that feeling, and things went smooth afterward.

Adding more light and a way for heat to escape an attic bedroom has been super valuable. The work that was done was excellent and very fast. The workers were pleasant, communicative, and kept things very clean. It was a pleasure to have them in my home.

I definitely recommend Skylights NW, and am giving a 4 star versus a 5 star because based on the cost of materials plus the total number of hours the the workers were here, the final cost of the job seemed high.

After accepting their proposal, they received the products and scheduled installation within a reasonable time. I had called a few places about two leaking skylights, and Skylights NW was the only one to offer to try and come out within a couple days to assess the leaks or at least cover them with a tarp to prevent further water damage. I know I was lucky to fit in between other jobs, and they are standard sizes, but they were able to be replaced that day – I’m very happy with the new Velux replacements (and my now dry ceiling), and will definitely call Eric again when the rest need to be replaced.

Eric and his assistant did a marvelous job replacing our 25-year old Velux. He communicated throughout the process and arrived when he promised; the job was protected, and spiffy clean when finished (no need to paint or repair sheetrock – beautifully done. There was a small accident which required repair of an item in the garage, but it was handled very well. The issue was resolved entirely and we are satisfied. I think I just had the best customer service experience of my life! My husband and I made the mistake of ordering skylights through Home Depot online. We received the wrong flashing kits and didn’t realize it until we already cut the holes in our roof (and yes, of course, rain is in the forecast tonight and tomorrow). We called Home Depot…they are an online order only, and they’re sold out – we couldn’t order them if we tried. We frantically called every place we could Google. After multiple calls elsewhere with no luck, we called Skylights NW. Not only did he have the correct flashing kit, Eric DROVE THEM TO OUR HOUSE AND HAND DELIVERED THEM WITHIN THE HOUR. At a dollar cheaper each than Home Depot, for the record. I could not believe our luck and I am so grateful. Thank you, Eric!!! We tried and tried to get a proposal from Skylight NW to replace 3 skylights. After multiple phone calls, text messages, and on-site inspection, we still don’t have a bid. And we were advised that they currently don’t have the qualified staff to do a second story installation. Don’t waste your time!

Eric replaced two old skylights for us a couple of years ago, advised us on shades, and helped us through the Energy Trust paperwork. Our new skylights are great and we love the shades. I called Eric to see about replacing 2 old hand crank skylights and installing one new skylight. Eric came out the next day, even though it was a holiday. He got back with a price the next day and we moved ahead with the project. One of the things I appreciated while waiting for the install was the updates Eric kept providing on timing on the install. In these crazy times of COVID deliveries are all over the board and Velux definitely had some scheduling problems but nothing terrible. Once the skylights arrived Eric and Christopher did a very clean and timely installation. The work was professional and there were no issues. I would highly recommend Eric and NW Skylights for any skylight work you are thinking about. We went with solar operation and blinds and they are convenient and add great light and airflow to our upstairs rooms.

We just had four skylights installed with solar powered remote control blinds. These skylights are all on the west side of the house over the kitchen so the blinds are really important during the summer heat. It took Eric and Christopher almost seven hours to complete the job without a break. The installation was outstanding and the results are fantastic. They took the time to make sure everything was just right. We are thrilled with them. I can’t recommend SKylights NW highly enough.

I contacted Skylights NW to get an estimate on installing two skylights in our large loft area -out of the several options that Eric provides us with, we decided to go with two operable skylights with the solar blinds and we couldn’t be happier! Eric found an exact replacement for my 28 year old Velux skylight. I popped the old one off and slipped the new one right into the place. The sheet rock went right into the dado’s perfectly. I didn’t even have to paint inside. With the new flashing took me 45 minutes to install. Perfect!

My domed skylights were almost 30 years old. Cracked but not leaking, it was time for an upgrade. I called for some bids and all were close in cost.When Eric showed up it like seeing an old friend. Eric was a great problem solver. What we thought would work was not possibility due to our 1954 home construction and a hip in our roof. He came up with a product solution and a layout that created an amazing light well and (3) skylights including one that operate on solar power. Cannot recommend enough!

Eric came to our home and confirmed that the skylight needed to be replaced. He explained what went wrong with the 30 year old leaking skylight and suggested an appropriate replacement, cost and warranty. He had the appropriate unit in his truck and installed it immediately, after which he thoroughly cleaned up – inside and out. He was knowledgeable, competent, professional, thorough and friendly. His price was completive and fair. I certainly would employ him again.
